Driving Directions:

From Durango, Colorado, Heading North on Main Street in Durango, turn left (west) on 25th Street until it turns into Junction Creek Road. Follow this road for approximately 22 miles. The trailhead is on the north side of the road.

Hiking Directions:

The trail drops 2,800 feet from Junction Creek Road with very little uphill in between! Fishing is a possibility and there are several campsites along the way, especially near the bottom. There are bears in the area, so caution should be used.
